Behind the Scenes at Burt & Mee: A Fresh Look, A New Kitchen & Big Plans

If you’ve been following along with our journey, you’ll know that things have been bubbling away nicely behind the scenes at Burt & Mee HQ. From catering weddings and office lunches to feeding festival crowds and intimate events – we’ve been busy doing what we love most: making food that brings people together.

But now, we’re also cooking up something else entirely… our brand new website, an exciting photo shoot, and the finishing touches on our new kitchen space!

A Website That Feels Like Us

We wanted our online home to reflect what Burt & Mee is really about – fresh, fun, professional food with personality. So we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to create a website that not only looks good, but makes it easier for you to explore our menus, find inspiration, and get in touch.

It’s clean, simple, and full of flavour – just like our food.

Lights, Camera, Snacks

No new website is complete without some mouthwatering images, right? That’s why we recently teamed up with a fantastic local photographer to capture our food in all its glorious, golden-hour lighting.

From loaded grazing tables and signature sandwiches to sweet treats and seasonal specials, the shoot was a chance to showcase what makes Burt & Mee different – the colour, the creativity, and the care that goes into every dish.

Let’s just say... there were a lot of snacks consumed on set (purely for quality control, of course).

The Heart of It All – Our New Kitchen

And perhaps the biggest milestone of all? Our brand-new kitchen space is almost finished!

This kitchen is more than just a workspace – it’s a base for our growing team, a hub for our creativity, and a space that gives us room to expand, streamline, and level up our offering. We can’t wait to welcome clients (and friends!) into the space soon.

What’s Next?

With our new kitchen nearly ready, a shiny new website on the way, and plenty of exciting events in the calendar, this next chapter for Burt & Mee is set to be the tastiest yet.
