Terms of service

1. Services Provided

• Burt & Mee Catering provides catering services for events, including but not limited to corporate functions, private events, and weddings.
• All services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse service for any reason deemed necessary.

2. Orders & Payments

• Orders must be confirmed at least 7 day before the event. A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
• Full payment is due 5 working days prior to the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  

3. Cancellations & Amendments

• Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made 5 days or more before the event are eligible for a refund minus the deposit.
  • Cancellations within 2 of the event will incur a fee of 25% of the total order value.

• Amendments:

  • Changes to your order must be requested at least 5 days before the event and are subject to approval.

4. Food Safety & Liability

• All food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Once the food is delivered or collected, the client assumes responsibility for its proper storage and handling. We cannot be held liable for issues arising from improper care after delivery.

5. Allergens & Dietary Requirements

• It is the client’s responsibility to inform us of any dietary requirements or allergens at the time of booking. While we take precautions to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee allergen-free meals.

6. Force Majeure

• Burt & Mee Catering is not liable for failure to fulfill orders due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

7. Intellectual Property

• All menus, recipes, and materials provided by Burt & Mee Catering remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without our permission.

8. Feedback & Disputes

• If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of the event. We will work with you to resolve the issue.
