Meet Grace
Hi, I’m Grace. I’m a mum, a wife and the person who started Burt & Mee Catering.
My story began at The Booking Hall Café, which my family opened in 2009. In 2015, we started catering through the café after customers asked us to provide food for their events. The requests kept coming, and what began as an extra part of the café gradually grew into a business of its own.
I opened Café Plaza in 2021, then started Burt & Mee in 2022 to give our growing catering work its own home. In 2025, we added a bakery, which now makes cakes for our cafés as well as our catering customers, and moved into a new, modern kitchen.
Today, we cater for businesses and corporations every week of the year, including management and investor meetings, as well as celebrations and gatherings. I’m proud of how far the business has grown—and that we’re still a hands-on team who care about the food we make and the people we make it for.
When I’m not working, I love musical theatre. I also speak a little French!
